Appearance: Standing at 5"2, Yenee is an African teenager with a medium frame. Once long and flowing black hair having been cut and pulled back into a ponytail to make it look neater. There are however, many strands of hair that still manage to stick up despite all of this. Observant brown eyes sit upon her face, sparkling with curiosity and hiding a hint of playfulness within them. Underneath her right eye, there is a thin but easily noticable, bright pink scar that stands out against the rest of her naturally dark skin.

Personality:

Having much experience with her siblings, Yenee is considered to be a sort of peacekeeper. Whenever an argument ensues she will attempt to stop it so it doesn't get any worse. Though by nature, Yenee herself isn't the most peaceful of people, she would rather not have an unnecessary fight taking place. Through a method of compromise and attempting to talk things out, she will try her hardest to calm the situation. If that does not work, then she will likely either give up and walk away or try to separate those involved in the argument.

Outspoken and bold, Yenee isn't afraid to make her opinions known. She wants others to know exactly what she's thinking. Her words flow from her mouth freely, without restraint, the only true limit on what she says is what she thinks. Her words can be rather harsh at times but she never really means for them to be. However, since she so boldly states her opinion, when she compliments a person it's likely that this is her sincere opinion.

Yenee is probably the most honest child in her family. For the majority of her life she rarely lied, though she often got in trouble for being rather blunt and hurtful when speaking. If she ever made a promise, she would do her best to keep it unless it was something she simply couldn't do. Even then, when she couldn't keep that promise, she would come out and say it. She believes that honesty should be the one trait that she works her hardest to maintain.










History:

Yenee is the first born daughter of a wealthy cardiologist. Her father had some rather bad luck with love and ended up marrying and divorcing many women in his life. This resulted in the birth of not only Yenee, but her two siblings Aziza, and Osman as well. As the eldest child, once Yenee became 7 years old, it was her job to help her father look after her siblings. Or rather, she made it her job. Yenee took notice of how busy her father's schedule could get sometimes, so she took it upon herself to start helping out so he could get a little more rest.

At first Yenee took notice of her brother and sister's personalities. They were different from hers in a few ways, but at the time did not bother her so much. So she naturally did not mind taking care of them too much. In fact, Yenee actually liked taking care of them, it made her feel like more of an adult now that she had some responsibility.

For the next 3 years, this is what she did. Take care of her siblings, though she would bring them outside every now and again to go exploring. It wasn't until she was 10 years old that Yenee first began to have her recurring nightmare.

After their father had gotten enough money together, he had gotten the family a pet cat. At first believing the cat was hers and hers alone, Yenee took the cat to her room and kept it there, feeding it and giving it water to survive. Her sister, Aziza, did not like that, she wanted to play with the cat too so she snuck into Yenee's room and took the cat from her.

Yenee was angry when she discovered Aziza had taken the cat from her. She immediately took it back, not wanting to share the fluffy creature with her siblings. After a brief scolding and explanation that the cat belongs to the whole family from her father, Aziza reluctantly allowed her siblings to play with the pet.

That night however, Yenee had the first of many dreams of a massive war of bloodshed, anger and pain. She awoke the next day and immediately began sobbing. Aziza eventually came into her room after hearing her sobbing. After a brief explaination of what happened, Aziza admitted to having the same dream.




Recurring nightmare: Dreams of the Ogaden war. Though she had won this war the scene of bloodshed and carnage weighs heavily on her conscious.

Felines- She loves how some can be sleek and stealthy, while others are cuddly and playful.
