I came down with a bit of a cold, but don't worry about me. It's just a little head cold, I'm sure it'll be gone in a day or so. One of the ladies at work said there might be something going round, so make sure you and your parents wrap up warm and drink lots of orange juice! Sleep well tonight, sweet dreams! xxx

Did you see the news? Do you think what I had was that flu? I wasn't that bad though, but they say that stage one isn't so bad... oh, please be careful! I hope you get better soon. Please don't work yourself too hard. I'll try not to worry so much. I think there really is something going around. Mother seems to have caught a cold as well. She's even got a bit of a temperature. I want to take a few days off to take care of her but I don't think we can afford that. I don't want Father to handle everything himself because he might get sick, too, but it's out of my hands. I'm sure they'll both be alright, though. Rest well and take good care of yourself. Yes, I did. I think it's pretty likely. I'm glad you didn't reach the second stage. Mother's getting better, too, but it looks like Father has caught the flu from her. He started feeling unwell just today. Somehow, I'm still okay. I feel kind of awful about it, though. I'm worried about my parents. I'm worried about you, too. I hope your cold clears up soon. Mother's all better now but Father reached the second stage yesterday. We're still thinking about moving him to the flu camp. They say it's best to just wait it out at home. I think I've caught it as well now. I've got a pretty nasty cold and a bit of a temperature. I'm not sick enough to be bedridden, though. I have a feeling I won't reach the second stage. But Mother and I are very worried about Father. I hope you're feeling well. Please take good care of yourself.

I'm starting to recover from the flu. My temperature's back to normal and I don't feel so light-headed anymore. My nose is still running but I think it'll clear up by tomorrow. Father doesn't seem to be getting any better here at the camp either. I'm starting to get very nervous. Mother's terrified. We're both trying to stay positive, though.
