Yao stood there in surprise, why oh why did Mingxia even come up as a topic? Her dislike of him was very noticeable. He himself did not dislike her at all but how she treated him sometimes was a bit unbearable. He looks around the area for her. If she were here, ugh, Yao could already think of the possibilities of what may happen. He noticed Kiku's glance at him and answered, "...Ah Mingxia is my younger cousin," Yao said his two cents, "But we don't talk a lot due to family reasons."

"But Shang, how /do/ you know Mingxia?" Yao raises an eyebrow, curious himself.

Michael shrugged, casually holding up his wi-fi enabled cell, "Internet."

"...Internet?" the intern repeated out of slight disbelief. Such a long chain of coincidences. Everyone knew each other. What are the odds? And what was this about Mingxia talking about him all the time?

Kiku brought his hand to his face, trying to even out the details. He knew Mingxia from school who knew Yao from family who knew Micheal from family who knew Mingxia through the Internet who knew himself from school who knew Yao from work.

Sounded about right.

"A-Ah. So, Mr. Wang, I truly am surprised to see you here. With your position I thought you'd be too busy. However, it's nice to know you take your fair share of rests. Such great timing for the Meteor Shower."

So Micheal knew Mingxia from the internet. And Mr. Honda knew Mingxia from school, which Yao recalled that she was still a student. And now he knew both of them. What? Yao gave up on the strings of coincidences today bought him, he'll also question Michael later about Mingxia. Hopefully he hadn't told her the things Yao would say about her sometimes. Though, maybe he should start writing his will anyway. Just in case. Yeah. Kiku's question brought him out of his 'Migxia is going to kill him' moment.

"Well I /was/ busy," Yao gives Michael a light glare, "But Michael decided to drag me along for the day. I usually can't say no to him, especially when he is excited. But thinking about it now, it would be a good idea to rest. I shouldn't overdo things after all. The Meteor Shower had wonderful timing indeed."

"Indeed, Indeed." Michael smiled, flipping open his brother's wallet he was able to sneak out of Yao's 'satchel'. He held up a shiny credit slip, amused, "I didn't know you had a movie card, Aniki"

With a slight pout, he pulled out a few coins and shut the clasp before tossing it back to Yao. "Ah, well, thanks for the festival money!" And with a small smirk, he was off.
