These streets so fixed and solid

And everything that I relied on
Disappeared
Disappeared
Country: Iceland
Name: Sigurður Steilsson (Sigurður was one of the potential names Himaruiya would give Iceland. It means “beautiful victory” . Steilsson is his potential surname and means “Son of Steil”, being Steil the name of his father. This sort of surname is very used in Iceland.)
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Profession: Fisherman
Highlander or Lowlander?: Lowlander
All the strangers look like family
All the family look so strange
All the family look so strange
Appearance: Sigurður is rather tall for his apparent age, though not having a considerable amount of muscles, but also not slim at all. He has a rare genetical disease called “Albinism”, which gives him a very pale skin - marked by several scars - and white-coloured, thin hairs that are almost always disheveled, except for the rare times he visits both towns.
His almost inexpressive eyes have a light-blue coloration and despite the uncommon height and look, his face still guards a young expression. The teenager can be described as having a good appearance and maybe even more than that, making it easy for him to gather peoples attention when in crowded places.
Personality: Even though Sigurður seems innocent by looking at his face, he is a serious boy of few words and expressions, making him also very lonely. That’s not considered a problem by him, as he likes the solitude and doesn’t use his best efforts to trust someone. But when he does, he has the capacity of fully rely on the person.
Sigurður is always seen near the coast fishing or just reflecting while looking towards the horizon. He goes to the town in extremely necessary situations and also just returns home to sleep or eat, as he doesn’t like the indoors – He’s not claustrophobic, though -.
His isolation from the rest of the world isn’t because he is shy. He just doesn’t like being near other people.
History: Nothing to be proud about, the teenager lived the first seven years of his life practically all by himself in a beach where he used to watch seabirds and fishermen living their lives in complete peace. As he never knew his real parents or how he got there, the only way he was able to survive was eating and drinking the food some fishermen divided with him.
With eight years old, a family of lowlanders that used to visit the beach with frequency decided to take care of him until he was able to live his own life. That’d be actually with twenty-one years old, according to them. Consequently, half of his freedom was taken, causing him to have much empathy with his new family.
Until he was sixteen, his relationship with the other members of the family was still almost inexistent. When Sigurður was not as school (which he cheated some days to go to the beach), he spent most time of the day outside looking at the ocean and not even looked at his parents at home.
After that age, he didn’t return home again. The boy ran away from the city and began to live far away from the rest of the population, fishing and commercializing what he could to have his own, independent life.
Recurring nightmare: Age Of The Sturlungs (1262)
This lack of confidence Sigurður has on people came especially from that age. Once, there were two persons who disputed his possession. He became a slave of both men and was treated inhumanly by both of them. His whole body got a lot of wounds which took time to heal and his weakness grew as the days went by without him to see the freedom.
Years have passed and the opposite began to happen. His owners began to weaken and he used that opportunity to become stronger and finally flee from them.

Likes:
The Ocean – He practically grew up hearing its song.
Loneliness – Due to his past, he judges it the best way of living.
Fishing – Another thing with which he practically grew up with.
Seabirds – One of his rare childish acts; Sigurður likes to talk with them.
Ships – One of his wishes is to get in a ship and sail to far, far away…
Dislikes:
Crowded places – They make him nervous.
Weapons – Sigurður fears everything related to torture.
Tall people – The two men who hurt him in the past were taller than him.
Affection – It scares him. As he doesn’t trust people very much, it’s always considered suspect by him.
Noises – He’s just used to the sound of the nature.

Roleplay Sample: (Hm… I searched some accepted Applications and some were about their lifes after the Solus and others before that, so… This one is before Solus.)
“ So… Will you go home now?”, the Norwegian leaned in the doorway while waiting for any answer from the albino who was outside. It was already dark and the only illumination they’ve got was the one from the moon, whose light contoured Iceland’s whole body. That was the only way to know he was still there.
The silence gradually dominated the whole region, with exception of the sound of the trees that surrounded the house. They slowly shook with the touch of the wind.
The blonde looked up to the skies. The position of the moon pointed almost midnight.
“ You didn’t even eat…”
No answer. He decided to wait a bit more. Iceland just stood there, static like a statue.
“ That ‘Onii-Chan’ thing sucks…”, the youngest finally claimed.
Norway sighed. There was nothing he could do about that. Nothing that he really wanted to.
“ It could be less stressful if you just stopped denying my wish…”
The Icelandic turned around, staring him coldly in the eyes. Not like Norway’s look. His was like a zombie one. His was so unpleasant it was rare for anyone to look him in the eyes. His was… Weird. But that time, he just had to.
“ I’m getting pissed.”
“ You always do.”
He grunted. His brother always had the unbelievable ability to pull his words down with no more than other five ones in reply.
“ Go sleep.”, the albino simply sat on the ground, using his finger to draw anything in the thick snow.
Norway bit his own lips, thinking of any last attempt to bring his younger brother home. Unsuccessfully.
“ Take a look at the fridge if you want to eat something.”, the Norwegian disappeared inside of the house, letting the door opened.
Something… Sure. Probably just Codfish. Iceland couldn’t deny he loved it, but there were certain times of the day for eating it and midnight certainly wasn’t one of them.
He just stood there looking the inner rooms. Some snowflakes already invaded the hallway, bringing the cold with them.
It was better to get in before the temperature indoors became the same as outdoors…
Slowly, the teenager stood up and removed some snow from the legs before entering home and closing the door.
Should he eat something...?
No. Better not. A brunch at next day morning was just fine.
He took off his shoes and put them right next to the entry. Actually, the right thing to do was put them outside so that their soles didn’t wet the floor, but it was just too cold out there. He didn’t want his feet to freeze when putting them in his shoes again.
The albino headed to his room necessarily going through his older brother’s one. A quick look within the room made it rather obvious that Norway was already fast asleep, but Iceland hesitated a bit anyway.
“ … Góða nótt, Onii-Chan…“, he whispered, slightly blushing, then walking with quick steps away to his own room before the Norwegian could notice anything.

Name/Nickname: Barbara / Nebbia (Or my char’s name is just fine)
Timezone: (GMT - 3:00)
Any other information: Well, I’m almost always at the computer, except when I have too much tests at school. I think it’s obvious through my English that I’m not American/English/Canadian/whatever... But sorry, I won’t tell what my nationality is.
I love a good RP and won’t hesitate if you want me to make it better. Plus, I’ve already role-played Iceland in several websites, but I had to change him a bit for this one, it seems...
You pull me in…
