Yong-soo's playing stopped abruptly. He only wished that the crumbling sound was just imagined but as he glanced up from his guitar, he knew it wasn't. The opening of the cave was completely blocked except for a small space near the top. There was no way he’d climb to the top, and especially not in this type of weather.

"Aish... What did I do?" he demanded, glaring up at the ceiling of the cave. The only response he was given was the sound of the rain growing heavier on the other side. "Great. That's just great. I guess I’m stuck here then…"

Yong-soo placed his guitar back into its case and began moving some of the rocks over. Panicking at the thought of being permanently trapped, he moved a little more quickly.

"S-shit...!" Tae Hyun tumbled to the ground, his shoulder slamming into the fallen rocks with a thump.

The lightning flickered above him, soon to be complemented by a second clang of thunder. Tae Hyun figured he didn't want to stick around for another "big one" just in case the rocks hadn't settled in from before. Gripping his shoulder, he made his way to a small cavern just a few meters away from the mud and excess of the landslip.

"Anybody home?" He spit casually, too sarcastic to even been considered a question.

[so, is he running in place? I am seriously confused.]

Yong-soo jumped at the sudden voice. "Oh! Uh..." He took a few slow breaths to calm himself. "Yeah... there is, actually... I'm obviously trapped here... Um, do you mind helping me with the rocks?" His voice cracked a few times as he began to panic once again. "Th-this... I..."

Closing his mouth, Yong-soo kicked the rocks at his feet in frustration. He was starting to feel really pathetic and stupid.

Tae Hyun blinked, not expecting to get a response of any sort...especially not a human one.

"Wait, what?" He approached the pile of rocks, a muffle of requests coming from the other side. "Hello?"

Picking up one of the rocks, he managed to break a small hole through the barrier. "Who's in there?"



"...YOU AGAIN?!"

Yong-soo flinched at the loudness of the other's voice as he peered through the small opening. "Haha... Yeah... Don't ask. I already feel really, really stupid..." The corners of his lips twitched upwards in a failed attempt at smiling as he looked down at his shoes. "Look, I know we started off on the wrong foot but... Do you mind helping me out here? Hopefully, this won't take very long..."

Yong-soo glanced up again with a hopeful expression on his face. He needed to get out as soon as possible. He had to make the other understand that without uttering a word about it since it'd be embarrassing to actually state his fears aloud.

Sighing, Tae Hyun truculently went to pull away at the other rocks. "Yeah, whatever. No promises though, these boulders are a hell'a slimy."

He managed to knock out a gap no bigger than a footbol. Glaring through to the other side, he sighed.

"You better make this worth my while." There wasn't much complaint in his tone, but you could tell he was annoyed. The stubbornness of the rocks combined with Tae Hyun's pride wasn't working out as well as he had thought.

He pocketed his hands casually before nonchalantly turning away from the other male, "The rain seems to be dying down. I could just walk away, you know."

Yong-soo had to keep himself from making a horrified noise when he turned away. "Don't... please? I'll make it up to you... somehow... Just help me, please?"

He moved some more of the rocks out of the way. Though he was quite capable of getting himself out, Yong-soo didn't want to be left alone in a situation like this. He'd just start to panic again.

"Hmmmmm..." He mused, a smug look spread across his face as he neared the entrance of the cave, "I think.....not."

By then, the storm had cleared up some, Tae Hyun was sure he could make it back home without much trouble. But then again, he wasn't in much of a rush to return to that hell of a dump. After exiting the shelter of the cave, the droplets of rain begin again to spot and dampen the shoulders of his tee.

He watched the ocean waves grasp violently at one another before swiftly turning on his heel to face the mouth of the cave yet again.

Mentally counting down in his head, he began to race forward, fastening his pace as he went, "셋...둘...하나..."

"......영!" With that, he rammed himself into the rock wall, stumbling through the barrier, into the other side as the pieces of cave and boulder began to stifle down through the already large gash of a crack. He held his hands over his head, wincing as a few rocks managed to crash onto his legs. "N-nn..."

Yong-soo stood back as his mouth gaped open in astonishment. He honestly thought the other would have left him to deal with the problem himself. I guess he's a nice person after all... Well, sort of...

"Gwaenchanh-a? (Are you okay?)*" Yong-soo asked, kneeling over to help the other to his feet. "You didn't really have to do that... but..." He coughed when his mouth was suddenly reluctant to move. "Gomaweo. (Thanks.)*"

"I-I'm fine..." He struggled to sit up, coughing violently, "...j-just get your damn hands off me!"

Tae Hyun gripped the wall for support. He found it hard to stand on his own but refused the other man's aid out of stubbornness.

"W-why are you here anyways?" He said as he cleared the rest of the dust from his throat and began to brush off the dirt from his pant legs, not even bothering to tend to his already soiled shirt.

"A big-ass guitar case and whatnot," He broke for air, "..you don't belong here."

((lol, sure. *tired of typing in romaji anyway* …and I think it’s Coreano… *shot* I don’t speak Spanish… Two more days and I finally get to drink SODA!! *happyface* By the way, are you also getting random e-mails from a “Rin S.”? I’ve received four random links in the past week…))

Yong-soo let go with a slightly hurt expression on his face. He watched the other use the wall for support. “It’s pretty obvious that you aren’t… Why don’t you just let me help you?”

He sighed. “I just tend to wander a lot… and then, there was the rain and I wanted to stay dry, at least…” He clutched his guitar case with both arms, making a face at the last comment. “Do you really want me to leave you here... with no one to help you get home?”

Tae Hyun sighed, finally straightening up to face the other. "Look, I don't need your help. Just do yourself a favor and go home. The rain's going to stop soon anyways."

Weaving his way in and out of the mess of broken boulders and rocks, he made his way to the entrance of the cave.

"Just follow the shoreline to the west and eventually you'll make it back to the Lowland shopping area." He muttered just loud enough for the other to understand. "Don't get yourself stuck again, I won't be here to save your ass anymore."

Tae Hyun forced himself out of the cave. It was strange; normally he had no problem walking away from a situation like that. There was just something about that..."Yong-soo" person that really ticked him off, but at the same time made him want to strike up a conversation. Sighing, he headed for the opposite direction, unsure if he really wanted to return "home" after how hard it had been raining. The dumps tended to smell even worse than usual after a good shower, so Tae Hyun opted to head to the clubs instead. He still had a few coins in his pocket from the morning's tips so he figured he might as well get himself a drink and something hot to eat.
