The days were getting slightly cooler now so Yong-soo dressed in a brightly colored hoodie over his usual attire. He doesn’t really mind the temperature but he didn’t want people to worry because he was slightly “underdressed.” More specifically, he didn’t want his manager to scold him for not dressing for the weather. Listening to his manager is a pain sometimes but he knows that it’s for his own good.
The ear-buds in Yong-soo’s ears were playing a more depressing song compared to the ones he usually listened to. This was probably due to the fact that the song was part of the original soundtrack of a K-drama one of his sisters was obsessed with. The drama was actually pretty interesting (not that he’d ever admit that to his sister…) and the plot line had a really nice flow to it.
Yong-soo breathed in the crisp, autumn air to try to clear his mind but couldn’t help but think about what his manager said a couple days before: “You should probably go back to school. I’m not saying that you should but I think it’d be better for you if you did…” He’d been pondering on that suggestion ever since. Though, he didn’t want to go back to that sort of environment again, Yong-soo whole-heartedly agreed with what his manager said because, in all honesty, he couldn’t picture himself making songs in his forties, which was probably what his manager had meant.
“Maybe I should go back…” Yong-soo thought aloud, just before bumping foreheads with someone who probably wasn’t paying attention to his surroundings either.
At the immediate contact, something like a memory flooded into his brain. Yong-soo was sitting at some sort of meeting and each face he saw was blurred… all except for just one. He felt like he was looking into a mirror when he stared at the person across the room. Seriously, the man looked exactly like himself… except for the long, braided hair and the noticeable scowl on his face. The doppelganger sent Yong-soo an icy-cold glare from across the room and, as suddenly as it came to him, the memory left him by the time his own body hit the ground.
Yong-soo stared into the sky for a while before sitting up and turning to the person he’d run into. He was about to apologize but his voice died in his throat when he saw the face that looked identical to his. He didn’t know what to say until a different song started to play on his mp3 player.
“I need an airbag,” Yong-soo simply stated and shrugged at the slightly confused look the other was giving him.
[[For anyone who is vaguely interested:
First song mentioned: “Hwa Shin (Flower Letter)” – Park Hyo Shin
K-drama mentioned: Iljimae (don’t click on anything that says “Iljimae’s Return” or “Return of Iljimae” because they aren’t the same)
Second song mentioned: “Airbag” – Tablo feat. Naul
I would post links but I’m not able to at the moment… as for the name of the thread… I just didn't want to write it in English. It means "twins" for those who are wondering.]]
