"No, it's fine. It's super durable - otherwise it would've broken by now, don't you think, Aniki?" Michael retorted with a slight quirk in his voice.

As the blender did its job, Michael held down the lid to prevent the top from coming loose. You were supposed to lock it on but the cap's lid had broken and it was up to him to handle the lid for now.

Yong-soo smiled a little. "All right," he said in reply, setting the knife down. "I'm just going to trust you on that."

After about ten seconds, he began to tap his fingers on the counter. For Yong-soo, it was almost impossible for him to stay still for a certain period of time. He honestly doesn't know why but the stillness just irritates him.

Michael swung his feet back and forth under the table, amused. It wasn't everyday his older brother would let him have company, especially someone off the street. Then again, the only 'company' he'd brought home other than Yong-soo was a stray kitten and a hobo from the Lowland shops.

"So..." He mused, "...you're in a band?"

Yong-soo paused before answering. "Nope. I was for a short time... We 'broke up' since we didn't get along very well." He he paused once more before elaborating a little. "We didn't fight much but we didn't spend the time to actually try to understand each other."

He shrugged at his attempt to explain. The words sounded less cheesy in his head. "What about you? Have you thought of becoming a musician?"

"I think I am already." He shrugged, a small smile spreading across his face.

"I mean, I make a lot of noise anyways so I might as well get payed for it"
