Appearance: Erik has been known to have his icy and crystal blue eyes that seem to stare right into a person’s very soul, and they can give an icy glare if he is annoyed or not in the mood for something. His pale skin helps define his blue eyes, but too much contact with sunlight can sometimes damage his skin. He doesn’t care about it that much, though. He has short platinum blonde hair, and one side of his hair is pulled back a bit. Pulling his hair back is a small wooden cross that was reinforced with a thin metal layer. One thing that people consider weird about the Norwegian man is his floating curl, and beware, if a person were to touch or reach for it, they would be met with a cold glare and a probable slap to the face. Erik has a small frame, giving him more of a slender and feminine look. Even though he has a small build, he makes up for his size for his speed. The man mainly wears dark colored clothes, mainly consisting of shades of dark blues.
Personality: Erik is the silent yet cunning type of person. He hides his emotions with an indifferent façade, but he does slip from his ways on certain occasions. He can come off as cold with his tone of voice and somewhat insulting with what he says. Erik has the habit of mocking his friends and making witty and sarcastic remarks to those around him. Even though he does not seem like it, he can be rather friendly and loyal to his friends. To strangers, he does not seem to care about the world and its people. He has a strange habit of looking at people and trying to deduce their life by just seeing how they act. He enjoys talking with friends, but with strangers, the Norwegian man only speaks when he feels the need to or to add something in. If the man needs to say something, he will try to be as truthful as possible unless he needs to do otherwise. His seemingly harsh exterior makes it hard for people to speak to the man, as others might be afraid to even talk to the man without thinking that he would ignore them or just be completely rude to them.
Erik is enjoys playing games and fooling people into things, using a certain elegance with his words. He will show his playful side with a small smile that almost looks like a smirk, and during this, he always try to think ahead and predict what the outcome will be. He will tease people for fun, and he enjoys telling stories about faeries or other magical creatures that he is able to see (reason why he can see them is explained in the history). Because little children love fairytales and stories, he enjoys being around little children and taking care of them. Erik is not very good with talking about his own accomplishments and just prefers not to talk about them at all, and he is not afraid to deflate the ego of people who boast about what they can achieve or get. Although it seems as if he is a calm man that seems to have never had anyone make him angry, but there are moments where he can get very irritated.
History: Erik was born the second oldest of his brothers. As he grew up, he played more with his younger brother than his older one, yet his younger sibling wanted to play more with his oldest brother. Erik was often left alone in the family, as if he played with his older brother, the two might get into a fight. As months passed, the oldest son happened to fall very ill, and because of his illness, the oldest died, leaving Erik as the oldest in the family. He silently mourned for his older brother, but he had to comfort his younger brother, who had taken it much worse than he did.
As the Norwegian started to grow older, he watched his younger brother very closely, not wanting to lose the brother he loved most. Later, Erik was invited to go out to a party, and he agreed to go, leaving his brother behind. After he came back from the party, his little brother was found missing. The boy panicked, blaming himself for losing his brother and greatly mourning for him. His little brother was later found dead, and the cause was of hunger and thirst.
As if things could not get any worse for the Norwegian man, his mother became ill, and she had to be bed-ridden for the rest of her life. As the years passed, his mother withered away until she died, leaving he and his father alone. Erik, feeling as if nothing mattered to him anymore, stayed in school longer and longer until he would start to not go home at all, unless to sleep. The boy felt that the more he stayed away from his family, the more he would forget about them and the less he would be reminded of them and their deaths.
One day, as he came home, his father had told him that he was planning to re-marry with an old friend of his. Erik, who had now grown cold and uncaring, did not care for what his father had to say and left to retreat to his room. Though he did not show it, he felt angry and sad. What was to become of his family? If his father re-married, that would mean that he would be a part of some old, torn up, and broken family.
As months passed and his father re-married, Erik spent more of his time outside of the house rather than in it. As time passed, the boy learned of his step-mother’s soon-to-be-born child. He began to feel unwanted, no matter how much his father told him otherwise. He felt as if he no longer mattered to the family, and once Erik was able to, he went to live on his own, cutting off all ties with his family and leaving them in the dust.
In school, he did not socialize with others and tried to be alone. It was during this time he attempted to keep some company around him, creating his own imaginary and mythical friends and believing them to be true as time passed. Erik enjoyed being around his magical friends, finding their backstories and quirks much more interesting than those of the people around him. He began to study science, becoming interested in the subject and doing rather well in it. As years passed, he began to fall into the category of life science to other branches. He was soon led to work in forensics, not minding it and doing rather well in his new job.
Recurring nightmare: January 1814 – Norway switches from Danish rule to Swedish rule
The Norwegian man stands in between two taller men. These men are fighting a fight that turned from verbal to physical; one of the men ends up winning against the other. As one of the men leaves, looking wounded and hurt, the other comes toward Erik, taking him by the arm and dragging him away from the spot he was in. He does not understand why, but Erik has the feel to go and stay with the other man, trying to fight the grip around his arm. Years later, after having fights with the other man who had taken him, he finally leaves the man and goes out by himself.

Likes:
- Bunnies. The man loves bunnies. He believes that the small and fluffy creatures are pleasant to have around him. The man has some stuffed bunnies that he keeps in his home, and he will often hide them when he has a guest coming over. His favorite out of all of his stuffed toy bunnies is a small pink bunny named Loki, which he keeps in his own bedroom.
- Playing the violin or fiddle. The man picked up a violin while he was young, and ever since then, he was absorbed into music and playing the violin or fiddle. He does not play these instruments often, but if he has nothing to do, he will play them and practice playing songs.
- The outside. Anything that has to do with nature, the Norwegian man loves. As a young child, he had always enjoyed going outside and being able to watch nature. He feels that watching the sky or watching how an animal interacts with its surroundings is some of the best things to watch in the natural world.
- Sun watching. The one thing Erik enjoys the most. He will wake up at any time in the morning or night just to watch the sun rise. He will stop doing anything he is doing at that time, go outside, and watch the sun set or rise. He believes that watching the sight is a truly magical and beautiful sight to see.
- People who know the difference between too loud and just right. The man hates loud noises, and for people to know just how he feels about this particular subject means that the man has less to worry about and can be peaceful.
- Making clocks. Now, this is something that the man does in his free time. Erik loves building and repairing watches and clocks, and he takes this work with great care. A person could often see his “working desk” filled with little gears, pieces of clocks, half made clocks, and fully made clocks.
-Younger children. Erik absolutely adores little children, and he particularly enjoys telling them stories and filling their minds with the wonderful world of his friends. Because he is unable to handle any child by their teen-years, this love of children only applies for younger children. They seem to be more accepting of his stories and tales of old.
Dislikes:
- Loud noises. He will often try to be as quiet as possible whenever he does anything, and he tries to stay away from loud people or noises. He does his best to stay far from them, but he knows that eventually, he will have to face loud and noisy people again.
- Strangers. Erik hates strangers, and he dislikes being around them even more. Even if the group he walking with is a bunch of strangers, he will try his best to avoid them or avoid talking with them.
- Being alone. To the Norwegian man, being alone means being open to anything and being vulnerable to anything. To be vulnerable is to be weak and defenseless, and Erik does not like to feel helpless. Even though the man would never admit it to anyone, he is completely terrified of dying alone. Adding to being alone, he does not like the silence that comes with it. Silence is uncomfortable to the man, and he tends to want to avoid silence.
- Contact. Erik does not like people touching him, whether if friendly or if out of curiosity. If a person were to poke him, the man would not hesitate to give a good smack of the hand or a quick response, as long as it was not a child. Friendly hugs and such could result in a shove or a punch, even if he does not like hurting others. His reactions to touch are mainly on reflects and impulse, not exactly thought out or slow.
- His current job. When he went to go get his job, he wanted to have something to do with living things or detective work, not something that has to do with death things. He feels as if his job was a good one, and he is happy that he at least has a place to work. While working, the Norwegian concluded that to work with science meant to work with dead things at any time.

The sky was cerulean blue, and beyond the horizon, tiny shades of pink could be seen. The leaves rustled, and the branches shook, creating a kind of soft melody that could only be heard by those who were listening to the faint sound of music. The grass swayed slightly, following the breeze that had followed it. On the top of a small but tall hillside with a tree that seemed to be painted there, there was a boy and another smaller boy with the other. The two were huddled together, one of them trying to comfort the other. “Shh…” a tiny voice whispered. “Thomas, it’s all right… Big brother is watching us right now, and he does not want to see you crying,” the older one told the small and crying boy he was next to. The wail sounded quietly through the area, breaking the melody of the leaves and the grass and the branches.
“But… but, Erik… how is he watching us if he is dead?” the younger one, Thomas, asked the older boy, Erik. Erik sighed softly, laying his younger brother in his lap and stroking his hair lightly. He smiled gently as his brother seemed to become less tense and more relaxed, but he still worried for his little brother’s well-being. He decided to comfort the boy instead of filling his head with childish stories.
“I know because once a person dies, they watch over you… even if it does not seem like it,” he told Thomas, trying to comfort his little brother. The rays beyond the horizon started to grow more of a yellowish tone, and the older boy seemed to catch on with this. He looked up at the sky, slowly placing his hand on Thomas’ shoulder and patiently waiting for the sun to rise up like a shining eagle.
“Hey, Erik…?” Thomas asked softly, slightly turning in his brother’s lap to look at his older brother’s face. “Why are we here anyways…? It’s very early, and we should be sleeping…” the boy whined softly as he yawned and rubbed his eyes. The older Norwegian boy looked down at his brother, smiling gently and huffing softly.
“I thought you would never ask… Thomas, have you ever watched the sun rise?” Erik asked, smiling as bright of a smile as if the sun had already risen. The question earned a head shake, signaling a “no” from the younger boy. The older boy sighed contently, going back to answer the other’s question. “Well, then you don’t know what you are missing. Watching the sun rise is the best thing in the whole world, and it is so great to watch that words can’t even describe it. Look! Here it comes right now!” he told the boy, getting the boy to sit up in his lap as the two watched the sun rise above the horizon, signaling that dawn was at hand. They stayed there for some time, admiring the sight and watching nature come to life as creatures began to come out and begin their day. Erik sighed softly, taking his little brother in his arms and getting up. “Come on, we have to go now…” he murmured softly, earning a whine from the younger boy. “I hope you enjoyed it…” he whispered softly, beginning to walk back to the home he knew so well. As the two left, the child fell asleep in Erik’ arms, and the older brother smiled the whole way back home.

Any other information: Uh… don’t be afraid to bother me about anything and such! xD I can be forgetful and sometimes slow with things, but I promise I’ll work on things as soon as possible! Also, don’t be shy to ask me questions or anything, I don’t bite~ I’m happy to talk to people, as it gets kind of lonely without having someone to talk to.
Just so people don’t get confused, the brothers mentioned in his history are not Iceland or Denmark. xD I tried my best not to include them in this app as much as possible, as well as any other Nordics.
You pull me in…
