(Alternatively Titled: Lovi (The RPer) Thinks Strike-Through Text Is Really Fun!)
Lovino had only come here out of the goodness of his heart, he swore it.
Originally, he had the day all to himself. How many days did he have all to himself in his busy life? Actually, every day he was off work he was pretty much all alone. He had actually planned to do something, though he couldn't remember what it was, now, and then Belle had called.
She had invited him to go shopping.
Lovino pretty much hated shopping. Though not with as much passion as he hated some things.
But he agreed anyway, because he was actually getting pretty lonely he still couldn't remember what he planned to do.
So, a change of clothes to look less out of place in the Lowlands, a train ride, and a brief walk later, Lovino was standing where Belle said she'd meet him, scowling like he usually did and wondering when the hell she'd get there, even though he'd only been waiting about five minutes already.
All he'd planned on doing was taking a nap, anyway. Er, he still can't remember at all what he planned to do. But it must have been something productive!

A tiny grin tugged at her light pink lips. Today was a Saturday which meant it was one of the few days Belle had to herself, with no work she’d have the morning to get ready for whatever she’d planned to do for the day and she really did want to do something preferably with one of her friends. Then an idea had struck her. Why didn’t she give Lovino a call! She hadn’t hung out with him in a while and she sort of missed his grumpy mug, he was one of her closer friends and while all he seemed to do was complain Belle felt like she could confide in him. Choosing a light coloured summer dress that complimented her hair and arming herself with a tiny bag of cookies and her surprisingly heavy purse she stepped out into the warm sunny street of the Lowerlands.
After a brief walk her emerald eyes landed on the familiar brunette figure of her friend Lovino Vargas. “Morning sunshine, have you been having a nice day?.” She greeted coolly as she approached the familiar figure. “I need to get some supplies for the bakery.” She said indicating to her list “And then I need to pick up my summer dress from the seamstress.” She’d ripped it last week and while she didn’t have enough money to buy another brand new dress she’d certainly had enough to get if mended. “So let’s go!” she smiled taking off into a brisk charge. The first shop they came to was thankfully one of the ones Belle needed to visit and it was one her bakery usually used for supplies. “Okay I’m looking for an extra large bag of flour, eggs and a large carton of milk.” She said as her green eyes scanned the aisles.
Sorry for the really bad post >.> i'm tired bleh

Lovino snorted as Belle asked how his day was.
"You know how it is. Sunshine, rainbows and sparkles and shit," he answered, though as he listened, he was a bit unimpressed with what Belle was planning on doing, "so basically you're dragging me out to do errands?"
Not exactly his idea of a fun afternoon. At least he wasn't lonely anymore.
He just sighed and followed along as Belle took off walking, and followed behind. He didn't have much to say/complain about for the time being.
"Hm," was all Lovino said as they entered the shop and Belle recited her list, "well, good luck with that."
He looked around a little anyway.
((It's okay! :3 And get some sleep.))

“Ah Lovino always the charmer.” She said dryly rolling her emerald eyes somewhat as he responded to how his day had been. She half ignored his other comment and with a flick of her blonde hair she followed the shelves with a keen eye, as she tried to locate the things she needed. “I guess we could do some real shopping once were finished.” She half muttered “If our Lowlander shops take to your fancy.” She teased playfully.
Actually Belle really wanted o grab a coffee after they’d finished, she’d been craving one all day but she knew for a fact work came first. “I’m going to have plenty of luck.” She smiled “because you’re going to help me. So see if you can find some eggs will yah?” She countered with a sly grin. She spotted the huge bag of flour as it sat on one of the upper shelves. Wrinkling her brow she moved to reach it.

"I'm not that much of a snob." was Lovino's response to her jibe about the Lowlands. Honestly, he'd prefer Lowlands shopping to the Highlands variety. If it was in the Highlands, he had a higher, although admittedly not very high, chance of running into someone he knew.
Lovino maturely pouted at her insistence that he actually do something, but went off to the section for the eggs anyway. He found them fairly quickly, and came back to see Belle struggling to reach the flour.
He snickered to himself, even though he was actually shorter than Belle.
"So, having any luck?"

Belle rolled her eyes at Lovino’s comment, finally her hands snatched the bottom of the heavy bag and without much grace pulled it down. She stumbled backwards frowning as some of the flour escaped and delicately coated her hands with a fine white dust. “Yeah yeah well at least you did your job properly, thanks for the finding them.” She smiled as she placed the eggs in the basket deciding it would be best to carry the flour separately she passed it over to Lovino. “It’s not going to fit in the basket.” She said “would you mind?” she asked with an apologetic look. “Anyway were finished here.” She said as she paid “I just need to pick up that dress then we can do some real shopping.”
They finally left the store and as the bakery wasn’t far she placed her newly bought goods in the back room. It was thankful that all the lowlander shops were placed so closely together so it wasn’t too far to walk to the seamstresses shop. She knew the owners, after all she acted like the doting big sister to Lilli who was simply adorable, she also got along well enough with the other workers to, they were all so friendly it was nice. Finally she got her dress and they left the store, she turned to Lovino with a look of triumph and asked. “So where do you want to go next?” she asked her friend.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll take it." Lovino glared at the bag of flour, oh how he hated physical labour, but he took it anyway. Lovino would've complained that the walk to the bakery seemed to take forever, but it wasn't enough to really tire him out. It almost surprised him, actually. He really hadn't been getting out much lately. At all. He was glad to be rid of it, though.
Lovino simply stood awkwardly and silently by the door while Belle chatted with the workers to get her dress. To him, it really did seem like she knew everybody around here. He felt a bit like a fish out of water.
When they finally left the building, he had to give Belle's questions a little thought. He hadn't thought this outing through very well.
"Um, do you know where an art supply store is?"
You could find some pretty nice, old, things in Lowlands art stores that you'd never be able to find in the Highlands, who insisted on all of their products being brand new. (Lovino didn't place quality of supplies very high when it came to art. If he could draw with it, it was good enough.)

Since the Lowlander district was so small in comparison to the Highlander district, a lot of people did tend to know each other, especially those who made the effort to make friends. Which was something Belle couldn’t help but do, she didn’t have a flawless natural charisma, but she did have a friendly smile and a free cake for anyone who did bother to talk to her. She guessed working for one of the only bakeries had its perks. Oblivious to how Lovino must have been feeling (considering he didn’t really know anyone in the lowlander district) she led the way through the streets until they came to the small section of shops.
“Well, if I remember.” She said pondering his question “I’m sure the Art shops near the book shop, which is in turn...“ she let her voice trail of as she tried to remember, it had been so long since she’d actually bought something for herself that she’d almost forgotten where each shop was. It was silly, but her memory was terrible. “- yeah I think it is near the bookshop which is about two blocks away.” She said sheepishly “either way we’ll find it.” Said Belle in an apologetic tone, she cringed inwardly and felt very stupid. “So hows work going?” she asked trying to spark the conversation again.

Lovino rolled his eyes a little at Belle's forgetfulness, but at least he didn't complain out loud! Though quite frankly, he didn't really feel like going on a wild goose chase. However, he still didn't have anything else to do, and it would be a bit too rude for even Lovino to complain about something that he knew she considered a fault.
"Okay then, let's get moving."
"Work," Lovino responded unenthusiastically, "is the same as usual. My boss is a bastard, most people are annoying, but I make enough money and it's really not the absolute worst."
"What about your work?"

“Oh I think it’s over here somewhere.” She said as the two turned a corner. Sure enough there it was saddled between two over stores. Really it was inconveniently placed so she didn’t entirely blame herself for not finding it at first. “Ah sounds fun then.” Said Belle with a hint of a dry tone, as much as she did like her friends all he seemed to do was complain, which was worrying once you thought about it. And Belle was a worrier. “Your boss can’t be that bad, is he?” asked Belle curiously as the pushed open the door of the store. “and my works great,” smiled Belle “I guess it’s just the fact I get to bake all day.” She mused happily. Her emerald eyes followed the shops shelves. “So what are you looking for?” she asked.
