Mingxia sat at a small table at an outdoor cafe, watching people walk by as she sipped her bubble tea. Today had just been too boring, not that she minded- especially since at school, the boredom had been contagious.
And when teenagers are bored, they buy stuff.
Mingxia had made a solid fifty sol out of her classmates today through the school store she had set up, and that gave her more than enough money to go shopping. Her taro-and-tapioca favorite had only cost her S3, but this was only her first stop.
Already, she felt like staying here all day. It was beautiful out, the spring festival would be here soon, and she felt content to just sit and people watch.

Lovino was actually in a somewhat okay mood.
He didn't have work today, and the weather was nice, so he didn't have any reason to complain, and looking for a reason just didn't sound appealing.
It was the kind of day where Lovino just felt like walking down to the grocery store, buying the ingredients for some semi-fancy meal, and then spending the rest of the day cooking it. Since it was a rare occasion that he actually felt like doing anything, he had acted on it and found himself in the West of town.
Well, he had his ingredients now, and he had absolutely nothing to do but head home, so he was simply walking there now.
However, Lovino was becoming distracted. He couldn't help but notice that there were a lot of cafés around here. He didn't like cafés other than the one he worked at by default, so he started glaring at them. How dare they be in the district where most cafés are!
Then he stopped paying attention to where he was walking and tripped over a nearby chair leg, dropping his groceries and landing flat on his face.
"Goddammit!" he exclaimed, loudly.

Mingxia was startled when a young auburn-haired man tripped on the chair across the table from her. "O-oh no! Are you okay?" she cried, jumping up to help when she saw his spilt groceries. "Y-your groceries... Oh no..." she whimpered, trying to gather them back up for him. So many raw ingredients...
She looked at the man. He seemed nice enough, if not a little ragged. "Were you going to make something yourself...? I'm so sorry, all that money you spent on ingredients..." she kept going, getting him straightened up. "I-I shouldn't have left that chair there, I'm sorry..."

Ludwig was walking down with Blackie next to him as he was holding on to her leash. He was done with class today and he needed to get something to eat before he had to go tutor a student in the lowlands. The boy really did wanted to see how Blackie's doing since Ludwig bought her. "Hey, You ready to get some lunch girl?" The dog look up and jump up a little in answer to Ludwig's question. He stopped when they came on the scene of man on the ground with groceries around and a young girl. Blackie dragged Ludwig closer to them and licked the man's face. "Are you guys alright?" Concern laced his face as he look down at the two.

"Oh, I'm fine," Lovino replied before he even looked up. He had the right to get angry at them afterward if he decided he didn't like the looks of them.
When he did look up, it was a very worried-looking young girl. Getting angry did not seem like the right course of action.
"S-Seriously," he insisted as she continued to talk, "I'm fine, it's not your fault, and I'm pretty sure most of my groceries will be okay..."
Okay, maybe some of them wouldn't be, but he didn't want to yell at her. For now, anyway.
At that moment, though, he felt something on his cheek.
He yelped, in a very manly way of course, and jumped back. Okay, it was just a dog. That was good. As long as it stayed back.
Then, he saw the dog's owner. Lovino decided that he didn't like the looks of him. He was too tall and muscly and blonde.
"I'm fine." he replied, a bit more curtly this time.

"Blackie down." Ludwig notice the tone of voice from the man when he directed it back to him. He leaned down and glance at the worried girl. "Here, I'll give you a hand," He said and help with the last few items left to recover on the ground. Blackie tilted her head at the Italian and turn towards the girl as she wagged her tail to her.

Mingxia barely heard the man, but continued to pick up his purchases. Tomatoes, now bruised; eggs, a few she could tell had broken in the carton by the way the corner had crushed on impact; a box of butter, quashed inwards on one corner. It was the least she could do to show how sorry she was. "Are you sure? I mean, that fall you took hurt to watch, but then again I can be rather squeamish... o-oh-"
She looked up when another hand came to her aid, following along the arm it was attached to all the way up to a somewhat intense, but calm-looking face. Movement on her other side drew her attention to a large dog. "Eeeee!" Mingxia yelped and scooted backwards on her rear to get away. This dog was big, and enough so as to be frightening. "I-it doesn't bite, does it...?" she stammered, pointing at the potential threat to her life. She made her skittish way over next to the red-haired man, hoping he was more okay with dogs than she was.

"Um, I'm not the most graceful person ever," a bit of an understatement, "so I fall fairly regularly, and trust me, that one wasn't too bad."
Looking over Lovino's groceries more closely, though, made him cringe internally. He supposed it wouldn't make much difference once they were cooked, though. He could always mooch off of one of his neighbours to replace the eggs or something?...
But this girl was so worried that Lovino didn't really feel like yelling and blaming people like he usually would.
However, that dog was pretty close to making him yell. Lovino didn't really like them. They liked to get much too close for his tastes, and if they were really huge they were downright scary.
Understanding how the girl wouldn't particularly like them, Lovino picked himself up off the ground and offered her a hand.
((Nyeh. Lovi never feels grumpy enough to me when I write him. And I'm sorry for the wait, the internet where I'm staying wasn't working for a couple of days...))

Ludwig was surprised at both of their reactions to Blackie who isn't that large of dog. Pretty small since she's still a puppy. "No she doesn't bite at all. Come Blackie. Next to me." Blackie walk back and sat down next to Ludwig still acting calm to the reactions to her. He picked up the bag of groceries as he stood up and watched the other man reached down to the girl. "Sorry she scared you both." Ludwig said even though it seems silly they both were scared of a dog who's not really a foot tall yet.

As she let the man help her up, she looked over at the... small dog? She must've been so frazzled that she wasn't really looking at the dog before. "Oh... It's..." Mingxia blushed deeply. That was rather foolish of her.
She looked over at the other two men. "B-by the way, my name's Mingxia... Mingxia Chen," she said, bowing a little to hide her flushed face.

Ludwig watched as the other man pull the girl up. He relaxed as she visible relax when she saw Blackie again. He reached out before he introduce himself. "Ah hello Mingxia Chen. Ludwig Beilschmidt and this is Blackie." He looked over to the guy and held out the bag he had. "This belongs to you then." He said more as a statement than a question.

"Um, I'm Lovino Vargas." He introduced himself, very smoothly, as you noticed, to the flustered woman.
Turning around to the other man, Ludwig-something-German, Lovino took his groceries again. He mumbled a little thanks under his breath, not wanting much to do with him. He still looked too intimidat- Er, he looked too German. Yeah, German. Because Lovino definitely wasn't scared of random strangers with dogs, nope.
((Er, Ludwig, would you mind putting a line in between each of your paragraphs? It would make it easier to read...))
