It was a nice, clear day, something one would expect from the highlands part of the country. The sky was blue, the clouds white and puffy, and a pleasant breeze gently blowing, ruffling sunny blonde hair. The park itself was green, and the figure of a man stretched out on natures carpet was laying near where the forests met the clear area.
This area was kind of unofficially a dog park, and Alfred kept his distance, the highlanders not really noticing him, or if they did, not really paying him any attention. He didn't look homeless at least, seeing as he kept his clothing clean and not scrappy. The reason he was here was to enjoy the air of the highlands, the sun, and to get to see some pets enjoying themselves as well.
Of course he never approached a dog and their owner, but it made him happy to see the two bonding and enjoying the day as well as admire how the spoiled pets looked. But otherwise he kept his eyes closed, just enjoying the pleasant warmth from the sun and the peaceful sounds, his bag resting against the nearby tree where he could see it should he glance over.

Ludwig watched as the frisbee flew through the sky as the three dogs chased after it. Berlitz had a satisfied wag in his tail as he carried his prize back to his master. Ludwig leaned down and petted each dog before taking the frisbee back.
Ludwig reflected that he was satisfied too. It'd been a pretty good day for him. One of the students he's been tutoring finally understood the lessons they had worked a week on. Plus his dad wouldn't be home till later that night. He would have plenty of time to relax a bit before studying again. He smiled as Aster brought back the frisbee this time around. Blackie woofed and jumped at the frisbee in his hand.
"Hm.. determined to get it this time huh? Alright it's going to go long," he said as he tossed the frisbee out.
As it flew the wind caught under it and veered it away from his original destination. He paled a bit as he saw its new target destination and three furry blurs that followed after it. He started running after them too. If he didn't catch them, the young man in the shade of a large tree was going to abruptly learn the meaning of "dog piling" someone.

The day had been quite nice...But then something hit the tree he was near, and bounced off of it, lightly hitting him in the side. Sky blue eyes quickly opened, and he looked around before noticing the frisbee, and picking it up, he looked at it curiously. What the....
He didn't even get to finish that thought as three furry forms tackled him, and he cried out as they became a wriggling mass, causing him to squirm and lightly flail at the two bigger dogs weights. He felt the frisbee stolen from his hand by one of them, not putting up a fight at that and just squirming more, attempting to get them off. Of course, then he felt a lick on his face and he blinked, calming, before he laughed.
"Ok, ok, take the thing." Lightly he pat the smallest dog before he pulled it off of the top of the pile, gently setting it on the ground so that was slightly less weight, taking a breath.

Ludwig finally gotten to the wriggling mass as Blackie walked away from it holding the say frisbee that created it.
"Aster, Berlitz get off him. I'm sorry about that." He was able to grab Berlitz's collar to pull the large dog off as Aster jump off of the man and follow Ludwig back as he lead Berlitz. He pointed right where Blackie was sitting giving the other two dogs the command to sit there. Both Aster and Berlitz moved quickly to their spots next to Blackie who was still wagging her tail as she place her prize in front of her.
Sure that they'll stay he turned back to the man and bent down. "Hey are you alright? I'm sorry about that," he worriedly said as he patted the guy down a bit to get rid of the dirt that the dogs had done.

Taking a deeper breath of air as the two weights were pulled off of him, Alfred let the other man pat him down, still feeling a bit dazed, but he smiled anyways. "Haha! No harm done, I was just really surprised, that's all." Managing to get to his feet, he finished brushing himself off before he smiled a bit at the dogs.
"It's not that often that I see people have more than two dogs as pets though, and have them so well behaved..." Chuckling a bit jokingly to him, he admired them for a moment before sticking his hand out to shake, a bright smile on his face. "Anyway, my names Alfred! I really hope you dont normally meet people this way." He laughed sunnily.

Ludwig glance at them and nodded to let the dogs come close to the two men. He placed his hand in Alfred's and shook it. "Ludwig and it's not my usual procedure, but I'm seriously reconsidering it," he joked back. As he let go he watched the dogs went around sniffing Alfred and he chuckled at Blackie who started jumping on her hind legs asking to be petted. "I'm still working with her on that. Blackie is the one who's asking you to hold her. Aster is the one on my right and Berlitz is on my left."

Laughing out softly at that, Alfred just grinned as he released his hand, arching a brow. "Careful then, it wouldn't be good to make someone really mad around here." Nodding, he smiled before he blinked, looking at the small dog.
He couldnt hold back the adoring smile, and he knelt down, pulling her up into his lap carefully and then stroking her head, rubbing behind her ears skillfully. "I don't see why you need to, she's adorable." He said happily, laughing when that earned him some licks. "Very cool names though. How old are they?"

He smiled that Alfred liked the joke. Ludwig watched as the young man pulled Blackie into his lap as he responded back, "I honestly don't want to change that behavior, but my parents are kinda strict about manners. She only gets away with it from me honestly." He sat down next to Alfred and Aster laid down setting her head in Ludwig's lap as Berlitz kept guard of the group. "Aster is 8 years old and she's a Golden Retriever. Berlitz is 5 years old German Shepherd. Blackie is just under a year old. She's a Miniature Schnauzer." He started to scratch under Aster's collar until he heard her thumping her foot. "You had any pets?"

Continuing to stroke her, he smiled as he heard that, chuckling a little. "Well she deserves to have some fun, she's still young. " He stated, rubbing along her shoulder blades gently. Looking at each dog as they were introduced, he smiled as he sat, then looked at Blackie. "Well it's quite a pack you have." He teased, and then chuckled when Aster started thumping her foot like that, amusedly watching her as she enjoyed the attentions. "Hmn..? Oh when I was little I had a um...a cat that lived outside. My parents didn't really like to have pets because they thought that I was too young to take care of em...But I made friends with a lot of wild animals, so it wasn't too bad." Alfred murmured, getting a bit quieter when talking about his parents before he just smiled again."Do you have more pets?"

"Yes quite a pack. Well Blackie wasn't one I planned on, but I couldn't leave her there once I saw her." Blackie woofed as her name was called. Ludwig was surprised that Alfred could work with wild animals. "That's quite a talent for taming any wild animals Alfred. I can understand though on not having a pet around a young child. It can be tough and ..heartbreaking." He paused a short bit as he remembered before continuing on. "Any others? Um well my brother does have a couple chicks. I think he name one Gilbird and other Cheese," He chuckled continuing on. "Guess he was hungry when naming them."

The woof caused another bright smile to light up his face, and he gently ruffled her ears, entranced by her adorableness. Faintly he shrugged though, smiling. "It's just a matter of earning their trust really." He nodded faintly, shifting where he sat before he smiled amusedly at hearing that. "Chicks are kind of an odd pet. Whats he going to do when they grow into chickens?" He asked, cocking his head while not really being bothered by the names, for some odd reason since that was usually the first thing people were surprised at.

Ludwig chuckles as he continues, "Knowing Gilbert he hasn't figured out that they'll grow any bigger. The first day one of them molts is going to be very amusing." He watch as Alfred petted the youngest pack member, but then took notice of the bag by the tree. "You travel around the island Alfred?" He asked before he could stop himself asking of what he consider was a rude question. "Ah, I'm sorry. You don't have to answer it if you don't want to." Ludwig corrected himself as he look back at Alfred.

"Ha! I wonder, poor guy." Chuckling at the thought, Alfred just smiled at the dog as she licked on his palm happily at the undivided attention, before he faintly jumped at the question. Glancing at the bag, he vaguely noted it probably did look rather strange in this day and age. People were supposed to have houses to go home to.
"Ah...Yeah I guess you could say that. It's fun to wander." Directing a smile towards the other man, he then let the dog down. "Lot's of things to see, y'know. What about you, do you ever do a little adventuring?" He asked, leaning back on his hands while Blackie attempted to get his attentions again.

He watched the little schnauzer nose Alfred for attention before he turned his gaze up to the sky. "Hm it's good that you enjoy it." He look back down at the man and slightly smiled back. "Adventuring me? Well I went down to the beaches and saw harbor. Been all around Highlands and," He looked around before he leaned down a little closer to Alfred as he spoke in a quieter tone. "I gone out to the wind turbines. I done it a few times actually. I drawn some sketches to figure out part of the mechanics," He moved back before continuing. "My dad would have blown gasket if he knew I went out there." He return to petting Aster as he move his gaze down to the older dog.

The young man just smiled and ended up giving in, rubbing the dogs neck and back softly before he chuckled a little, arching a brow. "Yeah? It's a cool place to be. I actually helped repair a lot of them--since there's only one guy who lives down there and is his job. He needed an extra hand."
Smiling, he watched as the schnauzer rolled over, and chuckling he rubbed on the stomache, smiling. "Still, good to visit when you're young, it's a lot more amazing then." He paused, but then glanced up at the sky. "Ah..Shoot. I gotta go. It was nice meetin' ya Ludwig! Keep a good eye on your pups!" He said as he stood, heading over and grabbing the large bag before he waved. "See ya around." And with that he jogged off.
It wasn't very often he came here to this area, but he figured a little visit wouldn't hurt anyone. It wasn't long before he vanished from the others sight altogether though, moving quickly along the forest and then disappearing.

"Ah wait." Ludwig shouted out, but the other man didn't hear him as he jogged off. Ludwig watched him vanish. He shook his head and figured it wouldn't be the last time he'd see Alfred. He stood up and whistled for the dogs attention. They all turned towards him as he picked up the frisbee. "Ah just as well, we need to get going guys." He walked back to his own bag and pulled out the leashes. "Come on," He clipped the leashes on to each dog as he continued. "You want to go home?" The dogs stay quiet as they wait for the next question. "Or do you want to go visit Gilbert?" They woofed quite loud as he laughed. "Alright let's gahhhh." The dogs pulled Ludwig in the direction of his brother's apartment.
