Feliciano had been doing some closet cleaning. And in that closet cleaning, he had come across a box of old photographs. Flipping through pictures and pictures of him and Lovino together had inspired him to make his way across the city and to his brother's house. He walked cheerfully down the street, holding a box of pizza in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other. Those things didn't usually go together, but why choose one or the other?
Was it a bribe? Sort of. Feliciano didn't forget that his older brother had his... grumpy moments, so why not start by trying to get on his good side? He walked up the stairs and rang the doorbell, shifting his weight from foot to foot impatiently. "It's your favorite person in the world, big bro!" He yelled cheerfully.

Lovino had been having an okay day, he supposed. His tomatoes were doing fine, he had sketched a little, the plot in that girly show he'd never admit to watching was finally advancing, and his boss hadn't been around when he was at work. Right now, he was simply lying on the couch, deciding whether or not to take a nap.
Then the doorbell rang.
It startled Lovino, making him fall off the couch and swear loudly at the impact.
It took him a few seconds to get his bearings, and then he wondered who the hell was there, because he certainly wasn't expecting anyone, but he got up and opened the door anyway.
It took him a couple of moments to recognize his brother, considering he hadn't seen him at all in years.
"Oh, it's you," he certainly couldn't just tell his little brother to stay the fuck away, but he didn't really feel like having conversation either… Oh wait, on second thought, he had food and wine, it couldn't hurt, "uh, come in."

Feliciano didn't seem to notice Lovino's indifference to his arrival. The younger boy was too caught up in being happy to see Lovino again. He lunged forward and gave Lovino a great, big, quick hug before darting inside. The younger boy acted as if he and Lovino saw each other often, inviting himself right into the living room. "I'm so happy to see you! I've missed you so much!" He wandered over to the couch, putting the pizza and wine on the coffee table.
He sat down and waited, a happy smile on his lips.

Lovino outright froze when Feliciano hugged him. So he hadn't gotten any less affectionate, had he?... But the hug thankfully ended quickly, as Feliciano darted into his house, settling on the couch and placing the food on the coffee table. Lovino eyed the pizza and wine for a second, and sat down a fair distance away from Feliciano, so that he was out of hug range. (He mentally cursed the fact that he only had one couch.)
"Um," Lovino responded, not being as good at spontaneous conversation as Feliciano was, "it's uh, nice to see you too, I guess... Do you have any reason for coming over?"
