Arthur considered the question, and then nodded. "Mm, I do." He agreed. He let out a complaining noise when Alfred pinched him, but didn't dare swat him away, given that he was only just starting to get comfortable with him. "Brat. Not all of us can be as muscular as you are." He complained, but the corners of his lips twitched as he tried not to smile.
Taking it all in, Arthur gave a nod, making sure that he'd remember. "I don't much like wasabi either." He said, nodding in agreement. "So you're safe there." Watching Alfred as he thought, Arthur smiled a little. He was cute. "That'd be fine, as long as he doesn't mind." He said, thinking it through still. "Remember you have my number, too, though. Just in case."
Looking at Alfred, Arthur smiled at him. He guessed that Alfred would like ice cream, so even though he wasn't that fond of it, he nodded. "Go and stand in the queue, I'll be there in a moment." He said, before moving away to grab some, picking up a bottle of rum on the way back. He had some at home, but it didn't hurt to have more.

Chuckling at the complaining noise, Alfred just stuck his tongue out at him playfully. "Well then I hope I never see it in your place." He teased, before he smiled faintly up at him. "I don't think he minds. He likes me coming by more...Dunno why, but." He shrugged, just nodding as he smiled. "I'll stick it in the front pocket of my bag when I get back so I dont lose it."
As Arthur said that though, he blinked then nodded, going and standing with the cart near the next person. By the time Arthur returned, the person infront of them was paying already and Alfred had most of the stuff on the counter, and he smiled at him and the ice cream. "Just in time." He put the last thing on the counter, then pushed the cart up where it'd be out of the way, snagged by one of the workers there to put it at the front once again, then waited at the end to grab most of the bags.

"You shouldn't do." Arthur said, with a frown. He relaxed to hear that Joel would be all right, though, and nodded. He guessed that like Arthur, he liked to see that he was all right and safe. Arthur knew that he'd like to see him as much as possible. "Well, if you do lose it just get Joel to give it to you again." He told him with a smile. It wasn't much of a safety guard, but at least Alfred would have someone to call if something did happen.
Smiling as he put them down, Arthur chuckled. "I do have good timing sometimes." He said, standing close to Alfred for a moment, before pulling away to start to bag their things. Leaving the last few items to Alfred, he then moved to pay, and frowned a little when he realised Alfred had taken most of the bags. "I can take half, it's not a problem." He said, taking what was there and leading the way out so they weren't in the way, but then holding out a hand for more of the load.

"That'll be easy enough to do." He said contently, but lightly he smiled in response, reaching up and brushing his bangs up...Hewas gonna need to find a way to cut his hair again soon. Maybe Arthur would let him borrow some scissors and do that...When Arthur returned though, he shook his head as he helped him get the things in the bag.
"It's ok, you paid. Besides, I'm used to carrying heavy stuff!" He said brightly, not releasing the bags to him and just waiting for him before he followed the older man out. "Seriously, it's not an issue." And with that he humed, already walking. "By the way, Arthur...If I disappear for awhile, don't worry. I sometimes just need to get out of the city for awhile."

Sighing, Arthur did put his hand down. "I normally carry my shopping by myself." He pointed out, but didn't want to argue over it so he let it drop.
Arthur frowned and looked at Alfred, but nodded. "I'll still worry. But thank you for telling me." He told him, letting out a little sigh. He couldn't help it. He knew that he would only think the worst. "Do you do that a lot?" He asked, a little curiously. He was still a little cautious about being too nosey, but he couldn't help but want to know more about Alfred.
Leading the way back home, Arthur smiled at him. "So if I do get more films in for us to watch, which ones should I get?" He asked. He wanted to know more about Alfred, but didn't dare ask him anything about his personal situation. "Aside from horror films, of course."

Ignoring the comment, Alfred just smiled as he continued walking, cocking his head in response before he pondered that. "Um...Not really. Only once in awhile, really. But when I leave, I can't really give you a time I'll be back." he shrugged faintly, not seeing anything wrong with it. When he was little he stayed out in a forest in a cave for around a month before he had to get back to the city, starving, and a nice old woman had given him a meal and a place to stay for the night...
Forcing the thoughts away, he then grinned. "Well, basically any movie is good by me, but I really like stuff that are either animated...As long as it has a happy ending." He smiled, looking at the other. "Comedy is fun too, I really like that too. "

Arthur sighed out, but nodded. If that was what Alfred did, he couldn't do anything about it. "Just try and stay safe?" He requested, quietly. "I'll be waiting for you with a meal, a bath and a bed for the night when you're ready to come back."
Pleased to move on from that subject, he chuckled. "Oh, well, I'm sure I'll be able to find something that you'll like. You've seen monty python, though? I'll have to make sure I always have a couple of films so you have a choice." He said, sounding happy. "Is there anything else I can get for you to enjoy as a break?" He asked, wondering if Alfred would let him treat him.
As they reached the flat, Arthur unlocked the door and held it for Alfred, then led the way up the stairs. He opened the door for Alfred again, following him inside and toeing his boots off before taking his bags into the kitchen and dumping them on the counter. He sighed out, and stretched, pleased to get them out of his hands.

"I'll be ok, I have a safe spot there....And um....Thanks..." he said softly, but he was also glad to move on from that subject. "Yeah, The holy grail was one of my favorite films when I was four." He chuckled, then pondered at the question he asked. "Mm...Just popcorn and maybe some soda, please...?" He asked, looking a little strange at actually asking for something.
Eagerly he headed in after Arthur opened the door, and followed him before he grinned. Managing to get his shoes off much faster, he headed in, and started getting things put away, except what he needed for the cake. Once that was done though, he got a couple bowls out, with a couple pots and then started the process, able to measure the ingredients out by eye, and preparing everything rather quickly.

Nodding, pleased at that at least, Arthur chuckled at the request. "Idiot! Of course you can." 'Idiot' was fast becoming almost a pet name, and each time Alfred said it, he sounded more and more fond. "Any kind of pop in particular?" He asked, smiling at him.
Arthur quickly put the stuff in his bags away as well, guessing at what Alfred would need and leaving that out. Once that was done, though, he paused, watching Alfred start to work. "Can I help at all?" He asked, moving a little closer.

To be honest, Alfred was kind of used to the name. His meaner employers usually called him that, and he didn't really care. "Nah, just as long as it's buttery." He smiled, of course not noticing the fondness either. However, he was surprisingly comfortable around the older man as well, something he found odd and he was starting to get wary about.
As he worked, a small grin appeared on his face at the question, and he just shook his head faintly. " I got everything. You can sit and relax, or put on another movie if you want though, so we can watch that while we wait since its gonna take awhile."

Chuckling at that, Arthur shook his hair. "I meant pop... what kind of soda do you want?" He asked, to make himself clearer. It was nice to know that there were still some regionalities left in the world, even if Arthur's came from the memory of his mother rather than his family.
Pouting a little, he stayed close, watching Alfred work. "If you're sure, then." He said. He felt bad leaving all of the work for Alfred, but... well, if that's what he wanted. Heading back over to the tv, he had a look at what films he had, and after a moment pulled out another one from his childhood, a cartoon this time, since Alfred had said that he liked that. He slipped it into the player, and then went to sit back on the sofa, curling his legs up again while he waited for Alfred.

"Oh! Um....Well, I basically like any type of soda, really. So, just whatever looks good to you I guess." he grinned, and just smiled when he saw Arthur keeping close. It was kind of cute, which was strange since normally he didn't really like being close to older men.
"I am~" he said, and then smiled at the movie that Arthur put on, and occasionally he would watch while doing something repetitive, but mostly he listened to it. Soon the cake was baked, and the coating of the chocolate was added as well as the chocolate dipped strawberries. Once that was set to chill in the fridge and most of the dishes were clean, he then headed over, flopping on the couch ontop of the blankets and faintly snuggling into them, his blue eyes on the television.

"Oh, I don't really drink it." Arthur said, with a light shrug. "I'll get you something, though." He promised. If he just got a bottle, Alfred could drink that while he was with him, and then there wouldn't be any left over. Arthur was happy to have tea.
Although he was watching the film, Arthur couldn't help but glance at Alfred every now and again to see what he was doing. He smiled a little, feeling surprisingly content, and relaxed into the sofa. He was pleased when Alfred finished, and resisted the urge to move in closer to him, letting him keep his space.
He didn't comment until the film was finished, when he stretched out a little, thin stomach momentarily revealed from under his shirt. "Mm... That cake smells really good, you know." He said, with a chuckle as he stood up. "I wonder what tea will go best with it?"

Alfred didn't even notices the other mans urges, just snuggling more into the blankets and then when the film was over, he chuckled as he asked that cocking his head as he looked at him, blinking at the sight of the slim stomache. "Hmnnn....Usually a strong, earthy tea goes with it well. Or something that has a slight nutty taste. It's kind of more of something you'd drink coffee with." he offered, before he stood, heading over and checking on it.
"Yep, it's all finished! Hope you're ready to enjoy cake." He called, pulling it out and closing the fridge before he set it on the counter, getting out a knife as well as two of the smaller plates, having memorized where everything was located by now.

Nodding at that, Arthur stood up and moved to the cupboard, eyeing his collection. "Asslam." He said, finally, picking up a box. "Would you like some? I really don't like coffee." Still, if Alfred really would start visiting him, he'd have to consider keeping some in the cupboard. Just for him.
Putting on the kettle, Arthur got out a small teapot to put tea in, and once that was done, came over to have a look at the cake. Reaching over, he nabbed a strawberry from the smaller slice, and put it in his mouth, letting out a little moan at the taste. "Mmmm! I hope the cake's that good..."

"Yes, please." Smiling, Alfred let Arthur handle that as he cut two slices, and he was going to take the smaller one for himself before he laughed a bit at the hand sneaking over and stealing a strawberry. " I hope so too, I haven't made this in awhile."
Getting two forks out, he put on on the plate that Arthur had apparently chose, and then leaned back, taking a careful bite of his own cake before his eyes closed in pleasure. "Mm....Man, that's rich.." He mumbled. As soon as the tea was done, he eagerly took his own mug and took a careful sip, and continued working his way through both things. He was done in around fifteen minutes though, and he rubbed his eyes before smiling.
"Do you want me to stay and do the rest of the dishes?" He didn't really mind, but at the same time he felt he needed to go regroup, and kind of have a break from people.

"I'm sure it will be." Arthur said, quickly, smiling at him. "It looks good." He returned to pour the tea, offering Alfred his up before returning to the breakfast bar to eat. He took a forkful and let out another pleased noise at that. "It's delicious, Alfred. Thank you." He praised quickly, smiling at him.
He enjoyed the comfortable silence as they ate, slowly but surely nibbling on his slice until it was almost gone. He look up at Alfred when he spoke, though, and frowned a little, before sighing. "No, it's all right. You've already done them for me today." He could see that Alfred was tired and wanted a break from his company, so reluctantly he let him go. "Let me get the money for the train."
Standing up, he lead the way to the door, grabbing his wallet and pulling out a ten Sol note. It was more than enough. "There should be enough change for a drink." He told him with a smile. "Or you can save it for when you next come to see me...?" He suggested, sounding a little hopeful.
Once Alfred had his shoes and bag on, Arthur smiled at him, before opening the door. "Stay safe, Alfred. And don't forget to call me if you need me."
